ABOUT ME

With a background in Graphic Design, over 16 years in Marketing, Digital Marketing and Corporate Communications across various industries, and now CX/UX/UI Design, I am looking to expand and solidify my human-centered design knowledge and experience within a corporate environment utilising all my skills and experience.

My change of career came about after working on a corporate website. I conducted a migration to a new template and decided to work on not just moving all the content to the new design, but rebuilding the site map to suit our customers. Without any UX knowledge, I worked on my own research to identify the pains and delight points of the old site. Thus began my exploration of the human-centered design field leading me to complete my certification to focus on this newly found passion.

As a motivated, and detail-oriented professional, I’m constantly striving to improve my techniques, expand my skillset and find new opportunities to grow. I enjoy collaborating in a team or independently to conduct research and explore the problem space in order to understand customer behaviour,  and find solutions that will enhance the customer experience with brands, products, services, apps, and more based around human-centered design. Each of my completed projects - both solo and collaborative - has enabled this growth and allowed me to learn new things at each stage. I believe I have found my calling and look forward to this new adventure.
